About Wildcard Resort
A small team of travel writers on a mission to make hotel choices easier and more honest.
Our story
Built by travellers, for travellers
Wildcard Resort began with a simple frustration: too many hotel listings looked identical, and too few told you what a stay actually felt like. We set out to write the guide we wanted to read ourselves — specific, balanced and free from paid rankings.
Today we cover more than a thousand hotels across dozens of destinations, and every review follows the same transparent checklist.
What we stand for
Our principles
Independence
Hotels cannot pay to be included or to improve their position on our lists.
Consistency
Every property is assessed against the same criteria so comparisons are fair.
Freshness
Reviews are revisited regularly and updated when a hotel changes.
